Ordering
Prices are subject to change without notice.
All orders accepted by Pastense will be invoiced at
once. The buyer is responsible for checking this invoice
to insure that all information is correct, with respect
to quantity, pricing, finish, style, upholstery, shipping
information, etc. The invoice should then be signed
and returned to Pastense. Orders are not placed with
the factory until the signed invoice has been received.
Order changes
and cancellations
Due to the custom nature of our products, Pastense must
specially purchase materials and have products individually
assembled according to the specifications of each order.
Therefore, once Pastense accepts and invoices an order,
it is fully binding and is not subject to cancellation
or change by the buyer. This does not mean that it is
never possible to cancel or change an order. However,
the request must be submitted in writing, approved and
acknowledged by us, and may require additional charges
for labor, materials and/or other expenses we have incurred.
Returns
If an item arrives damaged, notify us immediately so
that we may work with you to arrange replacement. If
unsatisfied with merchandise, full refunds (less shipping
fees) for stock items will be issued if merchandise
is returned in original condition, including peel coat
on tabletops, within 14 days. Credit card orders will
receive refunds in the form of a credit, and check payments
will receive a refund check. Please be aware that furniture
is highly susceptible to damage during transit. We take
great care to pack shipments so that they will arrive
intact, so it is imperative that you retain all original
packing materials, and your original receipt, for any
item that you wish to return to us.
Shipping
All prices quoted are FOB, factory, and are shipped
Best Way, meaning the most economical way, given the
size/dimensions of your order. All delivery dates quoted
are approximate. Any orders shipped later than the factory
scheduled delivery date are free from any penalties
imposed by the buyer. From the time the carrier signs
for shipment, Pastense no longer has title to the merchandise
and the carrier becomes the agent of the consignee.
Disposition of shipments refused by the consignee is
the responsibility of the consignee and/or buyer. Any
additional shipping charges incurred by Pastense for
matters such as C.O.D. fees, inside delivery, etc.,
will be billed to the buyer.
Shortages or
damage claims
Shortages other than loss in transit, or any variance
in the specifications of the order must be reported
to Pastense within 5 days of receipt of goods. Failure
to make such claim shall constitute acceptance of the
merchandise and a waiver of any defects, errors, or
shortages. Please see the shipping instructions sent
with the invoice.
Storage
Under normal circumstances, if buyer advises at time
of placing order that a shipment should be made after
a specified date, Pastense will try to accommodate such
request. If, however, no specific date was requested,
and when the order is ready for shipment, buyer is unable
or unwilling to accept delivery, Pastense will invoice
the buyer as of the scheduled date of shipping, and
charge buyer for all handling, transfer, and storage
costs incurred from the scheduled date until actual
shipping date.
Warranty
All products manufactured for Pastense are guaranteed
against failure from defective workmanship, when installed
and utilized for their intended purpose. The factory
warranties are limited to one year unless otherwise
specified. Booths, one year, Chrome chairs 5 years,
barstools, one year, table tops two years, all other
products one year. Under this warranty, any product
proven to be defective shall be replaced at our option,
free of charge, providing it is returned prepaid as
directed. This warranty shall not apply to any product
that has been repaired or altered by anyone other than
Pastense.
Pastense product line is for indoor
use only, and therefore any damage caused by exposure
to the elements is not covered by this warranty, regardless
of Pastense having been apprised of final destination.
Neither does this warranty apply to Pastense merchandise
exposed to harsh or acidic cleaning agents or abrasives.
Upholstery is specifically excluded from this warranty,
regardless of whether the fabric was provided by Pastense
or the customer.
Privacy
When making a purchase through our Site, we collect
your name, shipping address, phone & fax numbers,
e-mail address, and credit card information, in order
to process your order, ONLY. We do not use cookies and
we do not sell or share your information in any way,
period.
